Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Milford Fire Company
Organized in 1952, the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Milford Fire Company consists of wives, widows, mothers, daughters or sisters of an active or retired fireman and any female living in the Borough of Milford.
Our aim is to aid and assist our Fire Company in any way possible in times of distress or whenever we may be called upon by the communities in our area. Throughout the years, the Ladies’ Auxiliary has sponsored fund raisers to raise money to help support the Fire Company. In the Fall and Winter we have had bake and soup sales, DJ and Oldies dances, entertainment book sales and craft shows.
In the past the Ladies’ Auxiliary has paraded in full uniform with the firemen at the Flemington Fair and at other fire company parades that are celebrating anniversaries or centennials. Through their loyalty and dedication, the Ladies’ Auxiliary hopes to continue serving the Fire Company and the community for many years to come.
